CVS Structure Essay

Module 6: Question 1: Draw an outline of your associations space. Rundown the organization’s items and clients and the powers in the particular and general situations that affect it. Which are the most significant powers that the association needs to manage? Section A: Draw an outline of your associations area. CVS Pharmacy Explicit Environment General Environment An associations space is the products and enterprises, and clients of the association. Each hierarchical space comprises of a particular and general condition. In CVS Pharmacy’s explicit condition are its providers and clients. In CVS Pharmacy’s general condition are legislative guidelines, headways in innovation, and financial powers. Part B: List the associations items and clients and the powers in the particular and general conditions that affect it. What are the most significant powers that the association needs to manage? CVS Pharmacy offers items in the front store and the drug store. Items in the front store run from wellbeing and excellence items, over the counter prescriptions, cleaning supplies, school supplies, occasional things, for example, Halloween or Christmas embellishments, and food and drinks. A few administrations offered in the front store is the photograph station where clients can print photographs and make collections for themselves or friends and family. Incredible client assistance is to be given to constantly they enter the store until the time they leave the store. Items offered in the drug store are remedy just prescriptions and requesting meds online that can't be found in theâ front store. A few administrations offered in the drug store are vaccinations, for example, influenza shots, pneumonia, and shingles shot, MinuteClinics, tolerant conferences, and coordinating clients into a decent Medicare Part D plan. CVS Pharmacy is coordinated towards a wide range of client bases. A few clients come into CVS to keep up their great wellbeing by getting their meds and getting educated on what they are utilized for and how to take them. Different clients simply come into CVS to do a tad of general needs shopping. In CVS Pharmacy’s explicit condition falls its client and providers. These powers hugy affect how fruitful the organization is or becomes. Clients assume an enormous job in keeping CVS alive. In 2012, CVS Pharmacy’s net incomes expanded by 15 percent to a record $123.1 billion and its working benefit expanded by 14.2 percent to a record $7.2 billion. Without our clients, CVS would not have the option to work. Providers are another immense piece of CVS†™s explicit condition. In the drug store, our principle provider is McKesson. On the off chance that we are not capable get the items that we requirement for our clients, we will wind up losing these clients to various drug stores. Consistently we put in a request with McKesson to get in the meds need to fill customer’s remedies. Without our providers, we would not have any items to offer our clients. In CVS Pharmacy’s general condition are mechanical progressions which assume a major job in keeping CVS alive. Innovation is continually changing and so as to stay aware of the quick paced condition, CVS needs to continue executing the best advancements they can to keep clients intrigued. One gigantic innovative progression is requesting and dealing with your drugs on the web. This lets client effectively request their drugs from home and be alarmed when their remedies are prepared for pickup. Administrative guidelines additionally assume a job in CVS’s general condition. There are numerous principles and guidelines that should be followed in the drug store. One explicit guideline that we should adhere to are HIPAA laws. This shields the client from pariahs seeing any of their own data. I think the most significant powers that CVS needs to manage are keeping clients cheerful and getting the provisions they need from their providers. Question 2: Analyze the impact of the powers on the unpredictability, dynamism, and lavishness of the earth. From this examination, how might you characterizeâ the level of vulnerability in your associations condition? Section An: Analyze the impact of the powers on the unpredictability, dynamism, and wealth of the earth. Natural multifaceted nature is an element of solidarity, number, and interconnectedness of explicit and general powers. CVS has numerous partners including representatives, non-administrative associations, providers, customers, financial specialists, investors, investigators, purchasers, nearby networks, community associations, exchange associations, government and administrative specialists, and the media. With every one of these partners inside the associations explicit and general condition makes correspondence and coordinated effort extremely troublesome. There are a great deal of voices to be heard and getting everybody interconnected and on the same wavelength isn't a simple assignment. CVS would fall under an intricate situation. Natural dynamism is an element of speed of progress and how much change is happening among explicit and general powers. CVS is continually changing and developing in today’s world. CVS realizes they have to remain imaginative and stay aware of new advances so as to remain the nation’s chief incorporated drug store administrations supplier. One case of CSV developing and changing is adding another element to their versatile application. CVS viper another medication communication checker as a component of its top of the line CVS Mobile application. This is an industry first. This component permits clients to rapidly and effectively check for potential medication connections by contrasting over-the-counter (OTC) items with their remedies and different OTCs on their cell phones. CVS would fall under a powerful domain. Ecological wealth is a component of amount of assets in the associations space. Wealth alludes to the amount of assets promptly accessible in the associations space. CVS has promptly accessible assets consistently. We can arrange from our outside merchant, McKesson, Sunday through Thursday to get the prescriptions we need Monday through Friday. We have an agreement with them and they gracefully the entirety of our drugs every day. CVS would fall under a rich domain. Part B: From this examination, how might you describe the degree of vulnerability in your associations condition? As expressed above, CVS has a mind boggling, dynamic, rich condition. While having a rich situation would persuade that there was little vulnerability inside the association, having a perplexing and dynamic condition persuades that there was a lot of vulnerability inside the association. Generally speaking, from my investigation above, I accept that CVS Pharmacy worked with an unsure domain. Question 3: Review your investigation of hierarchical structure. How has your association planned its structure to coordinate nature where it works? For instance, how do its level of separation and its utilization of coordinating instruments mirror the vulnerability of its condition? I characterized CVS Pharmacy’s authoritative structure to be natural. CVS includes decentralization inside the association. Decentralization happens when top management’s dynamic has been assigned to bring down supervisors. The drug specialist has the carefulness to offer gift vouchers to troubled clients. This thusly makes the client glad and ideally they will come back to CVS later on. The drug specialist likewise has the caution to value coordinate with different drug stores. In the event that Walgreens has a lower money cost for a specific drug, at that point we can offer that cost to the client in the event that they request that to be finished. CVS, generally, is exceptionally formalized. This is a quality of the unthinking model of authoritative structure yet as I said before, we are predominately natural. The experts and representatives don't have a great deal of circumspection to digress from their activity obligations. There are decides and guidelines that the y have to follow else they could be ended. CVS has an intricate structure. There is extraordinary exceptional scattering; it has high vertical separation, and high level separation. CVS has planned its structure to coordinate its condition. I said before that CVS works under a powerful domain and thus has planned its structure to be natural. CVS’s utilization of incorporating systems mirrors the vulnerability of the earth. CVS Pharmacy is profoundly separated. CVS has different degrees of the board that the employable center need gaze upward to. CVS additionally has more than 7000 stores across the nation making extraordinary spatial scattering. Some incorporating components utilized by CVS Pharmacy are explicit occupations, arrangements, andâ standards that workers must follow. Representatives at CVS are not permitted to make their own standards/undertakings. Representatives are given explicit employments that they are to complete and in the event that they are not finished, there are outcomes. As the lead drug store expert, I am responsible for stock. Our stockroom request should be finished on Wednesday by 3pm. I have to utilize my time admirably to ensure this gets finished in any case there will be a great deal of provisions and prescriptions that we don't get. This isn't useful for the client or the association. Representatives likewise have certain arrangements and norms that they should cling to else they will in all likelihood be ended. Workers need to act with respect and trustworthiness and they need this to finish to the client regardless of whether they client is by all accounts off the mark. CVS is separated and thusly, they follow a natural structure. Question 4: Draw a diagram of the fundamental between hierarchical linkage systems (for instance, long haul contracts, key coalitions, mergers) that your association uses to deal with its emblematic asset interdependencies. Utilizing asset reliance hypothesis and exchange cost hypothesis, talk about why the association decided to deal with its interdependencies along these lines. Do

Applying for Summer Internships

Applying for Summer Internships The first two weeks of last summer were rough. I found myself sitting on my couch all day, binge-watching show after show. Although I had just finished a busy first year of college, I still felt like I needed something to do. After a short while, the monotony of staying at home became unbearable, and I decided to get a job. I reached out to a professor at a local university, and worked a summer internship for the next three months. The internship was phenomenal. I learned a lot about a specific research field, developed several useful skills, and had something nice to put on my resume. I decided then that I wanted to have a similar experience this summerâ€"what better way to spend a long three months? Ive spent the past semester and winter break gathering the necessary materials for an internship and filling out applications. Although the process of doing so was tiring, I feel like Ive learned a lot and have a lot of useful tips to share. If you plan on interning somewhere in college, hopefully this post helps! Take challenging and relevant courses. College is time-consuming, but there may be semesters where you have a couple of credit hours to spare. Take full advantage of these opportunities and enroll in courses that will make you a more competitive applicant. Doing this will help you in two ways. First, pushing yourself shows employers that youre willing to go above the bare minimum. Excelling in difficult classes demonstrates that you have a great work ethic and are capable of handling challenging situations. Secondly, you might pick up a couple of useful skills. My freshman year, I took a programming course and ended up applying a lot of the things I learned in the classroom to my summer internship. Get to know your professors! Most internships will ask for letters of recommendationâ€"get them from your professors! If youre active and involved during class, your instructor is a great person to ask for a recommendation letterâ€"they know you best and can account for your academic achievements. However, dont restrict yourself to asking your professors. There are plenty of other people who can write a strong letter in support of your applications. For example, I asked my research adviser from last summerâ€"employers can make great references too, depending on the kind of internship you are applying for. Have a clear vision of why you want to work. Having the right motivation to work is extremely important. Filling up blank space on a resume is not a good reason to be an intern. When youre completing your application forms, ask yourself the following questions: why do I want this internship in particular? What skills can I gain from this experience? How will this opportunity impact my future? To me, internships are one of the most valuable learning experiences a student can get during their college career. They teach you skills that you might not learn in a classroom and force you to apply your knowledge to real-life scenarios. Even a negative experience is beneficialâ€"internships are a great way to find out if a certain career path is really for you. I hope this post was helpful, and good luck on your future applications! Franklin Class of 2022 I grew up in Hong Kong, China, and I’ve come across the world to Illinois to major in Astronomy in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I’ve always thought outer space is super cool, and I love that I’m learning everything that I can about it at Illinois.

Is the Love Between Romeo and Juliet Eternal

Is the Love Between Romeo and Juliet Eternal? Romeo and Juliet are considered to be an example of perfect blind love love that does not obey orders and listens only to the heart. Moreover, it was a tragic love, which did not last for long. Of course, one should not forget that they both are in heaven now and can enjoy one another for eternity. But would you like to experience such destiny yourself? Due to books and films of such kind, many of us initially suppose that we really love a person only if we are ready to die when their lives come to an end. Of course, ideas of such kind gradually vanish in our heads, though Juliet and Romeo are still believed to be the perfect lovers. Bearing in mind Shakespeares contribution to the world literature, let me state that he gave a bad example to the sensitive youth. Even now young people commit suicides without taking into account feelings of their parents and friends, when their beloved ones pass on to the Great Beyond. Though they should not forget that the death of one person is already a tragedy and it is very selfish to make people mourn on two occasions at a time. For this reason it would be much more sensible for writers to make people understand that difficulties and grieves must not destroy us. No one is saying that one must shake all the memories off his head and behave as if nothing has happened, but one can cultivate kindness in the name of their beloved ones so that they could watch from heaven and feel your eternal love.

Essay on Religion in Walt Whitmans Literature - 976 Words

Religion in Walt Whitmans Literature Why should I pray? Why should I venerate and be ceremonious?#8230;#8230;I find no sweeter fat than sticks to my own bones. (pg 40)Nature and all of her wondrous facets, especially the human body, was Whitmans religion. Walt Whitman was indeed an intensely spiritual man in his own unconventional way. His epic classic Song of Myself demonstrates these attitudes of his, and in his view how the proverbial poet of his America should believe. All aspects are sacred of mother earth in the eyes of the poet, as are all facets of belief in the heart of a conventional religious person. Whitman express how great this love is that he feels for his planet by expressing himself unworthy of such greatness. Prodigal, you have given me love- therefore I to you give love, O unspeakable passionate love. (pg. 42) Whitman blatantly expresses himself almost to the point of being stale on how much the earth means to him. Looking past the almost cornieness of this statement, some very powerful messages can be derived from it. Mother earth to the poet, is loved more then words themselves can even express. This is such a powerful statement in this epic poem, because it expresses the reader that no matter how much the American poet should right he can never truly say what he wants to. The American Association Of Retired Persons (aarp) Essay Example For Students

The American Association Of Retired Persons (aarp) Essay The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP)Founded in 1958 by Dr. Ethel Percy, the American Association of RetiredPersons (AARP) has been dedicated to addressing the needs and interests of olderAmericans. Percy felt that older Americans could attain a sense ofsatisfaction and fulfillment by remaining physically and intellectually activein society, thus came about his idea to form the AARP. The AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, membership organization open to anyone, working or retired, overthe age of 50. Based in Wash-ington, D.C., the AARP pursues its goals throughservice, advocacy, and education. The AARPs ultimate goal is to help olderAmericans achieve lives of independence, dignity, and purpose. The AARP isspread nation wide through local chapters and is run mainly by volunteer boardmembers at the local and national levels. The 33 million members of the AARP can expect many benefits as well assupport from the AARP. The wide range of services span anywhere from movietickets to grants for re-search. The AARP also has many publications in theform of audio and publications. The most famous of these publications is thebimonthly Modern Maturity which targets all readers inter-ested in AARP issues. The issues and goals the AARP advocates span a great deal throughout thepolitical, economic, and social arena. While diverse in its areas of interest, the AARP mainly concentrates on social issues. Being a nonpartisan organization, the AARP does not nationally endorse or contribute any money to the campaignsof any candidate running for national positions including presidency. Politicsin the AARP is basically left to the individual to decide whom he/she willsupport. The only participation the AARP takes is through the AARP/VOTE program. The goals of the AARP/VOTE program are to educate AARP members and the generalpublic about important economic, health and consumer issues, and about thepositions taken by candidates for public office on these issues. They alsoinform candidates and elected officials of AARPs positions on key policy issuesand help elected officials be more responsive to the needs of their districtsor states by promoting effective communication with their constituents. AARP/VOTE is successful because of its effective methods used to bring thecandidate and constituent closer together. They use techniques such ascandidate forums where the candidates visit local chapters, questionnaires thatcandidates fill out, and voter registration drives. Besides the AARP/Voteprogram, the AARP gets through political pressure from the grass roots level bya well structured system of events. This system of events can be summarized infour basic steps. The first being Obtaining Member Input. This step involvesthe local level members providing input about legislative issues of concern inany area. The input is provided in form of thousands of letters of concernwhich is reviewed by the National Legislative Council of the AARP. If enoughsupport for an issue is found to be present among the majority of the membersthen it goes on to the next step which is the Decision Making of the NationalLegislative Council and Board of Directors. At this level, the National Counciland Boar d of directors decide which issues to support and include these newissues into the AARPs federal and state policy agenda for the year. TheCouncil and Board interact with Congressional and government leaders. Leadersread over and respond to the AARPs policy and debate over issues of concern. Once revisions are made to the policy agenda, a final draft is made and isdistributed in many forms to anyone interested. The third step, Disseminatingand Implementing Legislative Policy, includes lobbying in Washington D.C. andtestifying regularly on Capitol Hill about the AARPs federal and state policyfor that year. While action is being taken in Washington, the AARP is alsoeducating members on the new policy. The final step would be Ongoing PolicyAnalysis. At this level the AARP reviews and analyses federal response policiesto see if they are consistent with AARP policy. Recommendations are logged intoa working draft of the upcoming years policy book and the process ofinteracting with the federal government starts all over again. Harvey Norman Case Study EssayThey feel that individuals should be able to work as long as they are willingand able to work. Letting older persons work longer would also benefit SocialSecurity and private pensions by increasing the amount of contributions withmore people working and by delaying payments. Finally, the AARP stands firmlyagainst age-related driver testing. They say it is discriminatory and isnt thesolution to the elderlys driving problems. The solution the AARP proposes iseducation. They would like to educate the elderly more about driving as well ashaving tougher tests when renewing drivers licenses. Another suggestion is tohave more conspicuous and highly visible road signs. These ideas all together, says the AARP, would make roadways safer for all drivers. Thus, through thissmall sample of their large interest for social issues, one can get a betteridea how the AARP stands. Being a member of the AARP has its many personal benefits as well ashaving the satisfaction that as an older person, one is still involved insociety at the political, economic, and social levels. The AARP has been aroundfor 38 years strong, being very effective and providing a solid voice for olderAmericans, and its success so far will assure its survival into the 21stcentury becoming one of the most well rounded organizations.

Atticus essays

Atticus essays Atticus, a deeply moving novel by Ron Hansen, opens in winter on the high plains of Colorado to the tropics of Mexico, as well as from the realm of whodunit detective mystery to the larger realm of the Mystery, which has its own heartbreaking, calming, and redemptive logic. Misunderstanding, dissolute, prodigal, wayward, wastrel, alias, and subornment are only a few words that tell the powerful story of Atticus. The case was labeled as a suicide. The body was identified as forty-year-old Scott William Cody, a blue-eyed white male. The plot of the book takes three sharp turns. It begins as a conventional novel about the relationship between a father and his troubled adult son. After one character dies, it zigs into a murder mystery, and by the end has zagged into something entirely different, a parable, let's say, in which characters find redemption. Atticus Cody, Colorado cattle rancher turned oilman, appears at first to be a remote and judgmental dad, but as we observe the g entle, persistent concern he shows for his wayward son Scott, we discover nothing less than the ideal dad. Scott's testing of his father's love goes way beyond normal bounds: his alcoholism and general irresponsibility actually cause the deaths of several other characters. Scott's peregrinations take Atticus from his home in Colorado to the slums and bohemian underworld of a Mexican town. There, Atticus confronts a seamy and labyrinthine corruption that tries to separate him from the love of his son. Atticus, the Father, won't let go, and that's the point. In my humble opinion, the message of the book is that an ultimately moving meditation on the ineffable, unmatchable love between a parent and a child should always be a close bond, because you might not have a second chance for reconciliation. Atticus Cody receives a surprise Christmas visit from Scott, his estranged son who has been leading the life of a wastrel expatriate in Mexico. The frictio...

Gender and Sexual Studies - Women and War Research Paper

Gender and Sexual Studies - Women and War - Research Paper Example Women and War The supposed structural adjustment policies (SAP) of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is still wreaking havoc on women living in less developed countries. Labor oppression of poor women, heterosexist bureaucracy, environmental ruin, and militarization all raise weighty issues for feminist movements today.2 Although feminist movements all over the world have been diversely triumphant, we become heir to several issues women of the earlier periods confronted. However, there are new issues as well as we try to understand a world permanently blemished by the unsuccessful attempt of communist and postcolonial capitalist societies to meet the economic, social, religious, and psychological demands of most of the world’s people. Globalization has increasingly become representative of the motives and goals of the free market and companies rather than autonomy and liberty from economic, cultural, and political subjugation for all the inhabitants of t he world.3 There are several of the issues tackled in ‘women and war’. ... interventions into the Western-dominated discipline, while at the same time emphasizing the effort that can and has to be carried out to visualize and promote cross-cultural feminist unity. The topic ‘women and war’ is a key representation of the ties between mobilizing, deliberation, and analysis and the actualization of feminist unity promoted by such topic. Drawing on diverse readings and documents, the discussion has introduced a general, compelling, critical analysis of global gendered militarism, emphasizing women’s opposition to it. Furthermore, this discussion is a testimony to the flexibility, ingenuity, and profoundly critical resistance by women on the different ‘vanguards’ formed by wars across the globe. Drawing on a combination of published sources and histories, ‘women and war’ discusses the gendered intricacies underlying the public debates that came with, and still come with, the supposed global gendered militarization. W hether we are discussing the involvement of women in warfare as components of the military or as laborers on the territory, or whether we are discussing several of the emerging sexual liberties that appeared to come with the extensive marshalling of the population, this form of sweeping disruption of daily social life could always have an effect on customary concepts of gender. The dilemma, in many private and public domains, was to make sure, as much as possible, that the long-established gender structure must not be disrupted. In our interesting discussion of ‘women and war, several processes by which efforts were exerted to realize such objectives were included. The notion of nationalistic femininity aimed to unite with the different ways within which women were organized into warfare without destabilizing prevalent

Slavery in the ancient times Term Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

Slavery in the ancient times - Term Paper Example He was one of the three sons of Noah, and he just happened to see his father drunk and naked. When Noah realized what had happened he cursed Ham and his descendants. This is recorded in Genesis 9:18. The Bible tells how the sons of Noah spread out in what is now the Middle East, and founded the modern peoples that we know today. As a result of this curse, Ham was forever regarded as being inferior to his two brothers, and this curse was passed on to future generations: â€Å"God shall enlarge Japheth and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.† (Genesis, 9:27, King James Version of the Bible). There is no mention of the color of anyone’s skin in this story, but when Jewish scholars taught the scriptures, they tended to add meanings to the basic narrative, increasingly linking the descendants of Shem with Jews (Semites) and early Arabs in the area to the East, the descendants of Japheth with Europeans to the north and west, and the descendan ts of Ham with Africans to the south and west. Unfortunately there was some confusion about the meaning of some words in the passing down of these stories, and Goldenberg reports that the word Ham became associated with the the word for the color black.

Communication Studies Introduction

Introduction Theme: The Generation Gap Research Question: How has the generation gap affected the current generation and caused a negative change in society’s values? According to http://www. investopedia. com, the generation gap refers to the differences found between members of different generations. More specifically, it is used to describe the differences in actions, beliefs and tastes between the younger generations in comparison to the older generations. Within Trinidad and Tobago, factors of the generation gap are quite evident in society.Several norms, mores and values established by the previous generations have been undermined and obviated by the current generation, the generation gap is also prevalent in today’s music, fashion and the way we speak. As such, it has been observed that the delicate structure and order of society which has enforced proper ethics and morals amongst its citizens has begun to deteriorate, given way to a more chaotic and immoral gene ration. It is a fact of life that the generation gap â€Å"is something that has existed and will continue to exist as long as man resides on this earth. It is not restricted to certain parts of the world, to certain times of human history or to certain cultures. That is why this â€Å"clash† is a fact of a life accepted by all generations, all over the world and through all time. This topic will help me investigate the reasons why the differences of generation gap have widened greatly in the 20th and 21st centuries and how it has contributed to the negative change in society. I am going to use an argumentative essay in my reflective piece as I think it best suits the theme of my project. In the essay, I’ll look at the points which support my topic while still touching on the benefits of the generation gap. These points will then be explained in greater detail in my oral exposition so that persons would have a better understanding of the chosen topic. The theme synchron izes with my interests in pursuing my sociological career path and information acquired from this project would also help with improving my student- teacher relationship and my relationship with my parents and come to better compromises as I will now better understand the older generation’s differences and point of views on current trends.

In today’s economic condition, work life equilibrium is considered one of the most imperative workplace issues. Work life balance refers to a satisfactory niche between many different roles in an individual’s life. But how to manage this balance to avoid conflict; this topic is discussed through many different aspects enlightened through personal experience. Work Life Balance Before taking any step towards knowing how to achieve work life balance, first we must gain an understanding about what work life balance actually refers to.It is about maintaining equilibrium between work and personal life, facing the multifarious demands in one’s life. The best equilibrium is different for each person because we all have different priorities in life. A young entrepreneur faces different challenges than a family man at the apex of his career. Work life balance involves two factors; Achievement and Enjoyment. Our life will be valuable and balanced when, in all the aspects of life, we are daily achieving success with all the joys of living! My Side of StoryBeing a young student struggling to manage good grades, working part time to support my education during this era of recession as well trying to give my family sufficient of my time as required, at many times I felt the misbalance in my life that is called work-life conflict. I felt unable to manage my time and was highly dissatisfied with my work and progress. Failing health and self esteem and disrupted routine was then a common state of affairs. I was new, hence obsessed with working hard to carve a niche for my career. In order to secure my grades I became overcommitted to my studies as well. I ended up drained every day, spending most of the time on the run†¦ from study to work, work to home and spending rest of the time sitting on computer. All I had once read and heard about work life complications was coming true in my life without my realizing it. It was not until when my parents had to h ave a ‘serious talk’ with me, that I realized where this chaos was leading me to. That instantly snapped me back; I set off to work on improving my standards. The informationIn order to balance one’s work life situation, you may need to look into four quadrants of your life- Friends, Family, Work and Self. Any disturbance in one of them because of the interference of another quadrant may cause work life conflict. Work life conflict must be removed in order to solve the problem and acquire balance. This information regarding the causes can be obtained by observation of daily life experiences and authentic researches conducted. According to the Business Week reports, Individuals who consider their work life balance better than others are likely to work 21% better than those who don’t.Moreover, a study shows people encounter work life conflict have 40% more chances of mood and anxiety disorders, (Kane, 2006); While employees having lower level of this conflic t experience increased job satisfaction. The Evaluation After gathering basic information, now I knew what I was missing and what I got to do. I loved my job, but without my natural energy boosters, I was unhappy and even feeling a bit guilty. My whole time revolved around my work and career, but I couldn’t make up for the very essential part of my life, that is my friends and family. From my newly gained knowledge, I deduced that a balanced approach at my level will be spending quality time with my friends and family that will have a positive physical and psychological impact on me. Moreover, I’ll be free of piled up responsibilities, procrastinated duties, and burden on my mental self, which will eventually also improve my progress in other quadrants of my life. I had to use it to devise such solutions that cancel out where I overdo, and give more space to those I neglected so a balance can be created. The SolutionAs I was already a student I opted for the greatest fa cility available today for work life balance concerned employees- Flexible timings, so that I can have more sense of control over my work. Dinner and meals would at no cost be skipped- they provide a quality time for whole family to be together. Also, sleeping schedules must be maintained, so there remain no health problems. Being present is the key word. No drifting away and being in two places at a time. On weekend there would be no computer, no emails, and no emergency calls from work!I could spend quality time with my family. I could contact my friends, go out and have some fun. Lastly, to spend some of my time on myself; a time to relax or do what pleases me. It’s a kind of meditation, hence keeps your mind calm and alert. Giving my study ample time and not burdening myself with more work than I could manage, was also essential. Conclusion The set of habits I formed as a solution for my work life problem, not only supports but emphasizes a sound balance between work and life activities.Back then I couldn’t see past my work; it still plays a principle part in my life, though it’s not my one and only concern anymore. This equilibrium I discovered open my eyes to worth of other things, that made not only my work, but my life much more gratifying. References Kane, S. (2006). Work Life Balance Strategies.
